Recently, the guest house recognized a very special woman as an honored guest. This wonderful person was our dear friend Thelma. This woman's history is part of what makes the guest house a very warm and special place in our hearts.

As stated on our honored guest page, Thelma was born in the guest house one hundred years ago! She had planned on visiting the guest house to celebrate her 100th birthday this past Novemeber, 2008. Sadly, Thelma's health prevented her from visiting and had been in close care ever since. Above is a newer photo of Thelma during one of her previous visits with us.
